HOUSING

SIDC is involved with a variety of housing programs and agencies.

Owner Occupied Rehabilitation (OOR) Program

This program is intended for communities to help homeowners through the Owner Occupied Rehabilitation (OOR) Program. Communities may apply for grant funding in order to complete repairs on owner occupied residential properties.

Housing Preservation Grant Program

This program can be utilized to aid a community in the local match for the OOR Program. It allows sponsoring organizations an avenue to secure the matching funds for repair or rehabilitation of housing stock occupied by low and very low income residents.

Single-family Housing Repair Loans & Grants

The Single Family Housing Repair Loans/Grants are awarded to individuals who need additional funds to complete repairs from
the OOR Program or that do not qualify for the OOR Program.

Affordable Housing Program

The Affordable Housing Program (AHP) provides grants of up to $500,000 per project for rental projects. This funding is a partnership between FHL Bank of Indianapolis members and local not-for-profit
housing providers, economic development partners, and housing developers.

Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME)

The Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) provides subsidies in the form of grants and loans to selected applicants for the acquisition, rehabilitation and/or new construction of rental housing for low and moderate-income people.
